Less than a week until the end of the month and I still didn't have an acceptable TwelveTrees shot for September. I was really starting to think the project was going to die this month ... then... like buses, three photos came along at once. This one made it into second place. I really like this shot, although it's not amazingly Autumnal in feel. The sheep make it. (It's also nice not to be attacked by the sheep, which is what happened last time I was anywhere near one.) This would have been my September pick, except that it had some composition problems. The road and low sun lens flare on the left side of the frame had to go, so the aspect ratio is off.
