I'm not overly keen on Flowering Currant but the Hairy-footed Flower Bees disagree with me, they love it, so last year I relented and took a few cuttings. Taking a few more recently, I was delighted to find last year's are growing. Obviously this is not them yet, although it may not be too many years before my garden is filled with the stench of cat's piss and with Hairy-footed Flower Bees (and theoretically with Currant Clearwing, although whether they eat Flowering Currant in the UK ... nobody knows).
