White-barred Gold

White-barred Gold

It's not entirely clear whether the lack of moths this season extends to the micro moths or not - there just isn't enough data to know because most people just ignore them. To be fair, there are a lot of tiny brown and grey ones that can only be identified by dissection under a microscope, but there are also many tiny gems like this one. Not only beautiful but a great test of photographic skill - these tiny moths never stay still for long.
