Glaze

Glaze

Once you get hooked on macro photography, the inevitable consequence is a compulsion to build diffusers to avoid the nasty appearance of harsh lighting. I'm quite happy with the range of diffuser material I use for various macro setups, but when asked to photograph Glaze, I had to draft in some extra lighting to undo all my good work! The light bouncing off the side of my ancient Gary Larson mug is normally something I'd avoid like the plague. Heigh ho.
