Rain Beetle
The Sony was misbehaving while I was trying to shoot this uncooperative beetle and at the time I couldn't figure out why. It was only later that I figured out I forgot to switch the ISO from Auto and since I was shooting in dim light to try to calm the blighter down, this is ISO 12800. Argh!
Rain Beetle, Pterostichus melanarius.
Sony ILCE-6000
Tokina 100mm
1/250 ISO 12800
Indoor play today, which meant one of the tasks on the list was hanging #TwelveTrees. I suspect hanging prints is traumatic for any photographer. Does that make me a photographer then? Final version is ... acceptable ... after much swearing.
