TwelveTrees: May: Down to the wire - again!
It seems I don't learn, or at least, not quickly. I thought that the May entry for my TwelveTrees project would be easier than the white knuckle ride of April. I did shoot a nice Horse Chestnut in bloom earlier in the month, but I couldn't isolate the tree from the background, and what I really wanted for May was - a may tree. And that's where the problems started. Hawthorns in hedgerows, check. Singleton thorns in full bloom, tricky. In the end it took until the last few days of the month to get this image. It really has to get easier in June - doesn't it? I feel an Oak coming on...
