Full of the Joys of Spring
Tipula vernalis. Nikon D7200 100mm f11 1/100 ISO 400
One of the things I like about insect macro photography is looking into the viewfinder and finding myself eyeball to eyeball with an insect staring back at me. On such occasions, the first thought that pops into my head is usually "I wonder what he's thinking?". And then I realise he's thinking exactly the same thing.
Anyway, I thought I'd continue yesterday's green theme, with this green-eyed cranefly, and this striking Green Carpet Moth, Colostygia pectinataria.
