Dawn itself was spectacular, the sun boiling and raging behind a single low cloud on the horizon. Fooled by the fact that sunrise is now after 6am, it was all over by the time I got to the top of Colborough Hill. With the rain in the night I had hoped for low mist in the valleys, but The Revenge Of The Dawn Cloud turned mist into haze. Wet grass, wet socks, wet feet. Time to go home for breakfast.
